Welcome to The Belvedere Academy


The Belvedere School has had an outstanding reputation for excellence in girls’ education in Liverpool and beyond for over 125 years. The Academy is building on both this heritage and the rich traditions of the school.


We are admitting more students who have a wider range of abilities while retaining our culture of high expectations, with each

Victorian villas and their gardens with a purpose built new extension. This contains state-of-the-art facilities in several curriculum areas including our specialisms of modern foreign languages and science.


In 2010 Ofsted judged The Belvedere Academy to be “Outstanding” saying that “… the core values of Belvedere have been maintained in the last three years” and that “standards are exceptionally high.”
