Interview with Miss Hammond
By Zoe Harris 7D
Due to the departure of old staff, new staff have arrived. One of the new staff is Miss Hammond. I had the chance to go interview Miss Hammond and here is what she said:
What do you do around the school?
Well I am the Assistant Vice-Principal which means I make sure the behaviour around school is ok. I also make sure that languages are having an impact on the students so they’re open-minded about languages.
How do you like the school so far?
I love the school, really enjoy it and the staff are really hard working.
What’s the best thing about working here?
The girls! I think they produce excellent work and are very pleasant.
What do you enjoy more - Science or Languages?
I enjoy teaching Science more but Languages are so important and I love speaking a different language when I go abroad.
What do you think about the new science labs?
They’re going to be fantastic, really up to date; we’re going to really enjoy using them!
What do you do after school?
In the morning I walk my golden retriever called Daisy and at the weekend I like to go down the beach and walk her there. Also in the evening I do an Italian language class and like to do wine testing with my friends.
In three words sum up The Belvedere Academy.
Ambitious, progressive and exemplary.
