As you all know, the new building is finally finished! It was fully completed in the October half term. We spoke to Miss Rogers who is a Science teacher at Belvedere.
Q. Do you like the new facilities and why?
A. I like the new Science labs because they are much bigger than the old ones and larger classes are easier to handle.
Q. What experiments can you now do that you couldn’t in the old labs?
A. We still do all the same experiments that we used to do in the old labs
Q. Has anything unusual happened in the labs since you moved in?
A. Yes for the first two days we had wasps in the room but don’t worry they have gone now!
There are many new facilities in the new buildings like the Science labs and computer rooms. Visitors to the Open Evening and Open Day said the facilities were fantastic and they thought the school was excellent. Most people would say that the new building has turned out be a great success even with some minor delays at the start.
