The Belvedere Academy

Wellbeing and Mental Health

Wellbeing is a whole school priority at The Belvedere Academy.

Through form time, assemblies, the curriculum and various initiatives we consider the wellbeing of all our students and staff continuously. We have a part time counsellor who supports students across all Year Groups and also CAMHS/YPAS are able to offer counselling support on site. 

The academy runs various charity events which support students’ wellbeing and are not only great fun but serve to raise money for a wide range of charitable organisations.

As well as Form Tutor and Pastoral support we offer support from a team of trained student Peer Mentors and they also deliver a “positivity club” during Enrichment time. A number of other Enrichment sessions are also delivered that focus on positive mental health and general wellbeing including Music, PE, Art, Mindfulness and Creative Writing.
